Rotring Polymer Mechanical Pencil Leads 0.5mm 2H produce light, clean lines for technical drafting and drawing. High-polymer construction resists snapping during heavy use. These 60mm refills work in any 0.5mm mechanical pencil and resist smudging in high humidity.
Key Features
- High-Polymer Formula: 60mm length with a dense polymer-graphite mix for tensile strength. These leads don't snap during heavy writing.
- 2H Hardness Grade: Hard graphite grade creates light gray lines for technical drawing. It leaves no ghosting after erasing.
- Smudge Resistance: High-density carbon particles resist smearing under hand pressure. Left-handed writers avoid graphite stains on paper.
- 12-Lead Pack: Plastic container holds twelve individual 0.5mm diameter graphite refills. One tube supports weeks of technical work.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is 2H lead good for writing?
It produces light, crisp lines that resist smudging. The hard grade requires more pressure for dark text than softer leads.
Does Rotring 0.5mm lead break easily?
The high-polymer formula adds flexibility to prevent snapping under normal force. These 60mm refills withstand more pressure than standard clay-based leads.
