Rotring 0.5mm 2B Hi-Polymer Mechanical Pencil Leads produce dark, high-contrast lines using 60mm graphite sticks. Under heavy pressure, the high polymer core resists snapping. These leads suit technical drafting and sketching applications.
Key Features
- Hi-Polymer Core: 60mm length with integrated polymer binders. Resists snapping during rapid sketching.
- 2B Hardness: High carbon density for dark output. Marks paper clearly despite high humidity levels.
- Clean Erasability: Low-residue graphite mixture. Leaves minimal ghosting after standard eraser use.
- Universal Fit: 0.5mm diameter sizing. Operates in all standard mechanical pencils.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Rotring leads break resistant?
Polymer binders add flexibility to the graphite core. This stops the lead from snapping inside the pencil sleeve when you apply writing pressure.
Can I use Rotring leads in other mechanical pencils?
Any standard 0.5mm mechanical pencil accepts these refills. The 60mm length meets global drafting tool standards for compatibility.
